My Windows 98 pc crashed last night and had to reset everything I lost.
I was running Opera 1060 with out any problems, and just tried to download it again, but got the following message:
Failed to load Opera.DLL because a dynamic link Library (DLL)
    initalization routine failed...
Any guys have any sugestions on how to solve this problem?
I do like Opera very much as a browser, and hate to give it up.
    Thanks.

    no solutions at Opera. Com.
Must be an internal pc problem with the Library DDL Registry,
or something to that effect, failure to initialize the download.
I thought there might be a Google website to find out how to
    fix this problem.
    Thanks for your help.

I have been using Opera 1060 for the last year on Windows 98, until my pc crashed the other day. So I went to the Opera archive site and download again, I received the above message regarding the Library DLL.

Thanks guys for all your help, I have solved my Opera 1060 problem on downloading it. I had to install Kernelex 4.5.2 in order to connect for the downloading process.
    Cheers!!

Actually rather sorry to hear that.

    ..<!-- Begin rant

Please do NOT hook that ancient thing up to the internet. It is so d@mn old it is utterly defenseless. And as soon as it does get infected it will start trying to infect everyone else on the internet.

I have a McAffee Firewall on this pc for many years, and never have I ever been affected with any hackers, malware, etc. It might be ancient, but it works well for me!
    Have a great weekend. :)
