With Win98SE I could open OE EXpress whilst surfing with IE Explorer6
Having upgraded to XP, everytime I open OE, it disconnects IE from the server and dials a new connection.
Under options in OE it says that IE & OE share the same connection.
There is also a dialogue box "Ask before redialling ". If I check this, the irritating dialogoue box appears when I try to open OE whilst surfing. This never used to happen with Win 98SE and I could freely open & close OE whilst surfing. Is there a way of stopping the dialogue box popping up.

Try this. Click tools\accounts and then on the mail tab. Click once on your default mail account and then on properties. On the connection tab uncheck the line that says "always connect to this account using ".
