Opening Mail in N6.2 Inbox

Does anyone Know how to set the default to open mail in the Inbox rather than Account Page?

Hi KentB,

When you open your 6.2 Mail, is your Mail account name highlighted, or is "Inbox" highlighted? I have been trying to recreate what you are experiencing and can't.

In your Mail Preferences, give us your "Server Settings ".

P.S. I should add, that I run Netscape 7.0 PR1. You might consider upgrading, as 7.0 PR1 is leaps and bounds better than the now obsolete and very buggy, 6.2.

 

Basically I don't understand your question.

Netscape 7.0 PR1 has much improvements over Netscape 6.xx however the Mail/News still needs some imrpovement.

Thanks, I did not have the check for new messages setting checked at startup in Server Settings. I am all set. I thought 7.0 PR1 was still in Beta Testing. I am a bit shy about using Beta products.
