I am not having this problem, but a friend of mine is.

Everytime he tries to open a link in IE6 (in Windows XP) it opens up a new window. But it just sits there doing nothing. The icon in the corner that would normally tell you that IE is busy doesn't move. We tried waiting it out, but it never does anything. AS most of you know this is very irritating and it makes it very hard to navigate the internet. Need help.

Tried running repair, but can't. IE6 is not in the "Change/Remove Programs" list. It is in the "Add/Remove Windows Components" list but with no option to repair. I tried uninstalling IE6 and reinstalling, but I am still getting the same error on his computer.

Any other suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanx.
