   I recently upgraded from windows 2000 to windows XP professional SP2. Now, when I use internet explorer to open images saved on my hard drive it opens each one in a seperate instance of explorer rather than in the same window. How can I set it so that images open in the same window rather than a new one each time?

   Try this: Go to Tools > Internet Options in Internet Explorer, and select the Advanced tab. Scroll down to Reuse windows for launching shortcuts, it should be checked.
