    Hello,

I don't want to change to a particular folder when opening W Explorer...

I'd just like that minus sign to the left of My Documents to be a plus sign... and that folder being closed like the rest in there instead of always open.

Anyone know how I can do that??

    Thanks!

See if this suits you ....

Start > Programs > Accessories > Right click on Windows Explorer (or the desktop icon if you have one) > Properties.

Change the Target line to ....

%SystemRoot%\explorer.scf - in other words replace exe with scf

    PeteC,

    Thanks for your reply.

I changed the target line to .scf like you suggested... but now the My Computer is open at the C drive.

I didn't really want that to happen.

I'd like to have My Computer, My Documents, and My Network Places unexpanded with the + sign in front of each of them.

    Is that possible??

    Thanks again for your time,

    roxe

    ps... like
    Desktop
    +My Computer
    +My Documents
    +My Network Places
    Recycle Bin
