Open Office Freezes

    I was having problems with Open Office version 1.01 freezing for even simple tasks. I run Windows 98 SE on this computer as well as Office XP. I happpened to read an article about Ctfmon related problems so I stopped it from running and no more freezes with Open Office. There is a removal procedure for stopping Ctfmon that one might use to advantage for similar difficulties.
