    Could someone recommend a good FREE online storage solution.
    I only need a few GIGs.

    I had considered that, maybe I'll give that a try.
    Tried last night to send a 18.9mb zip file to
    my hotmail acc. which I'am using only 1% of 2gig
    but stoped at 92% sayng the receiver had timed out.

    Tried using Gmail and thought it might work
    but when it gets to the end i get this:

    Because of the upload time I think I would
    be better off with an external USB druie anyway.

    Most isps have a max bandwidth limit per email message. I use COX and the biggest file we can send by email is 10 MB.

    If you use Firefox, install extension Gspace. I created 2x Gmail accounts for this specific purpose (use Gspace for upload and when viewing/downloading contents of this gmail account). Is it a tool for primary backup, NO. I use it for my high value data items (I create encrypted / password locked info, then upload) as a "off location" copy. This in concert with redundant copies via my normal on site backup's (internal partition and external HDD). If my house burns down or tossed to the winds in a tornado, all my real important "life stuff" is accessible anytime, anywhere.

    Any online free data service I've used is throttled. Never have to worry about maxing out your uplink. :rolleyes:
