I just bought a new (Uh,to me) radeon 9250 256 mb pci. It asks to disable the onboard graphic( it has the instrcutions for this ). Is it a new thing for new video card, since my older cards( ati and nvidia ) didn't require that?

Some cards may automatically disable the onboard video chip - others may not. Anyways around the onboard video should be disabled if a plugin card is used.
