okay, i dont know what is happening

when i type an address into my address bar, i am taken to a sick **** site instead of where i typed to go.

this only happens when i dont type www. at the begining of the address.

i dont know what this is. i dont know if it is a form of a virus or some hidden program that i cant find to remove or what.

my mother suggested zonealarm.com i downloaded the basic addition. no help at all. she thinks is a spy program???? i dont know what that is.

any ideas as to how this can be fixed and avoided in the future?

Please click the 'search' button at the top right of this page and enter 'Spybot'. Then follow the links there to download, update and install.

This will likely rid you of your little problem.

Run this twice delete all it finds, "ALWAYS" run this before AdAware.

Leave all it wants to leave after the second run.



AdAware 6.0 <http://www.lavasoft.de>

Run only after SpyBot!

Make sure to configure to Max settings, all files and compressed files.Delete all it finds



BHO Demon <http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm>

A BHO is like a autostart/startup that only runs when you run the Browser.

This program runs stand alone no install is required post me the items it finds other than the below. Normal entries here would be Acro….. (Acrobat Reader) or Nav…. (Norton Anti virus).
