Officejet G55 error writing to lpt1

    Hi all,
    When printing from various software the printer prints fine but trying to print from the Internet or Email keeps giving me a 'Error writng to LPT1' error
    Any suggestions please

    Nowadays newer motherboards have the capability to support enhanced parallel port (EPP), enhanced communication port (ECP), and standard parallel port settings.

    Check and see what yours is set at and a change may be necessary by a jumper on the motherboard or a system BIOS option.

    Have found the answer. Updated I.E. reinstalled drivers and now its fine. Thanks
