My OS is WIN98 and my office programme 2000 Small Business.

I used to have Office97 with PowerPoint on my previous computer.

Office 2000 Small Business does not include PowerPoint.

Does anybody have any experience with installing PowerPoint from Office97 together with Office2000.

I would be:) to hear from other members about their experiences.

I have excel 97, powerpoint 97, publisher 2000, works XP version on a XP home machine. On my 98SE box I have Office 2000, powerpoint 97, excel 97. I haven't had any problems with mine. The way I installed them was:
put the cd in the drive
when the installer popped up chose to do a custom install
then select only what you want to install ex. powerpoint
This method worked fine for me and should work ok for you also.

    Good luck

    Hello Bubba169.

I installed PP from Office97 and it worked OK as you said.

Then I decided to install Access as well.

Installation confirmed OK but when I wanted to open programme, it didn't work. Message: Database not found or you have not indicated a database.

    Any suggestions?

If not I will just uninstall Access again.

I honestly don't know I never found any use for Access for what I needed and have nevered even bothered to use it. Don't uninstall it yet give it few days maybe someone here will pick up and be able to help you with it unless you don't need it.
