    Hi All,

Does anyone know how to set the default dictionary in Word XP? Whenever I change it to UK dictionary, it reverts back to a US dictionary. Is there a registry setting or something that will make Word default to a UK dictionary?

The regional options/input locale etc is set to UK.

    Cheers.

You don't say what SP but they fixed quiet a few spelling/grammar glitches with Office XP SP1 and there is a Speller Update to SP1 you can get that takes care of some more.

Also, make sure the "Suggest from main dictionary only" box is not checked and you should be OK if both US & UK dictionaries are marked as active regardless of which is the default.

Thanks Newt. I'll give it a go later today.
