office xp or publisher trbl?

    I load Office xp with no trbl(just word and excel). Then when I try to install MS publisher I get the following error msg
    Error 25003
    Ms Office can not continue because the install source has been corrupted.

    I've tried uninstalling ofc, reinstalling, rebooting but I keep getting the error.

    Any ideas?
