office 2000

    Loaded Office 2000 and whenI try to open Word, I get a message that says "winword.exe has experienced problems and you will have to restart the program "

    Two things you can try. Put in the original install disk and you should get an option to repair.
    If that does give that option, open another Office program, Access, Excell, etc. Click on help, then detect and repair. You will need the original install disk, and it can take awhile.
    Do a find for normal.dot, and right click and delete it. It will rebuild when you open word.
