    Hi everyone. This is my first Posting,so forgive me if I make a booboo. I have aproblem with OE6,inWin2000. Sometimes,when typing a message in my e-mail,for no apparent reason the page disappears,and part of the last word typed appears on a new page.It is NOT a long message.This happens perhaps on an average of 1 out of 10 messages.I cannot find the original page to continue. Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers.

    Hi Syd Hurrell
    Welcome to the boards!
    Did this just start happening recently? You're using Outlook Express........composing an email..and all of a sudden the email you were writing disappears and a new one gets started?
    I know this seems like a long shot...but is there any chance you havien't fully waited for the blank email that you're about to compose, to fully open? I've found myself starting to type too quickly, and my message is actually being typed in the "To: ".......or the subject line...rather than the main box?

    Is it possible that on occasion you will get a stuck keyboard key such as "shift, cntrl or alt key" [use of capslock will compound this issue] and once stuck, an innocent keyboard letter can produce undesirable results such as clearing your current text. A stuck alt key isn't even necessary, all you have to do is tap it once [by mistake] and the right letter combo can zap ya'.

    While composing an email,;
    For example:
    Type a few lines
    Tap the "alt" key once [either left or right]
    Opptional: Say "ala-kazam "
    Type "eu" without quotes.

    Just an idea, but you can see how these types of "human error" glitches can occur. Additionally you may wish to check for any rules you may have applied that could produce unexpected results such as the one for "messages of certain sizes ". Maybe some kind of gotcha' in there.

    NOTE*This is without researching to see if this is a known problem [bug] suffered by others. I'm just throwing out ideas on a couple of ways that this may be reproduced.
