    I am having a problem with sending emails in OE6. They arrive at the other end with this type of message

    This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

    ------=_NextPart_000_0017_01C95E00.CB9E4D10
    Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
    boundary= "----=_NextPart_001_0018_01C95E00.CB9E4D10 "
    etc. etc. etc.

    I have a few Hotmail addresses and can send pics and text via Windows LiveMail ok with them and they also arrive at my OE address Ok. If I send an email with a picture from OE it doesn't arrive and if it's just text it arrives but with the above message!!

    Any answers please make it simple as I am a wrinkly !!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

    What is the size of these pictures - in Kb. Find the picture in Windows Explorer and the size should be shown.

    Check out this .....

    Outlook Express > Accounts - highlight your default account > Properties - Advanced tab ....

    Is there a checkmark under Sending 'Break apart messages larger than xxKb'? If there is uncheck and OK out and test.

    Post back with results.

    It doesn't matter if I try to send a miniscule 21kb or a 2MB picture it goes into my Sent box but doesn't actually arrive.
    The box wasn't checked.
    Very grateful for your help.
    Regards.

    Try this .....

    In OE - Tools > Options > Send - Mail Sending format - HTML and under HTML settings ensure that 'Send pictures with messages' is checked. OK out and test.

    If emails sent are not received the likelyhood is a problem with your ISP.

    I had a feeling that it might be - had a similar case with a friend's comp only last week. So frustrating, but al least it is now resolved :) Thanks for the update.
