I'm trying to Import an exported address book list from one XP-Pro computer to another, both having OE6. I exported the .csv file ok but when I import it it says:

An error occurred during the import process.
The import process could not be completed.

I read about checking to make sure the Read Only box is not check but it is blank on the exported file.

    Any other suggestions?

If you can - copy the original .wab file to the new pc and when you import - point to that file.

    Steve,

Where do you find the original .wab file in OE6/IE8?

    I got it!

Under the Import list, the first one was Address Book with no further descriptors which did not work but the second choice is Other Address Book which gives multiple choices such as .csv files.

Maybe someone else knows what the first choice is for?

    Thanks guys.
