OE6.0 Can Receive but not send from secondary email address

    Using OE6.0. ISP is EARTHLINK. I created a secondary email address and can receive messages in this secondary address but cannot send or I should say messages appear to be sent but they are not received.. Is this an OE problem or an EARTHLINK problem??? Thanks..

    ronbo61 - Welcome to the Board :)

    If the messages are not returned as undeliverable then I would suspect that the problem lies with Earthlink, but do check that you have the correct server settings in the secondary OE account.

    Hi Pete C,
    Thanks for your response. Server settings are identical for both accounts. Only difference is the SERVER name. Primary email address is pop.earthlink.net and secondary email address SERVER name is pop.earthlink.net(1).

    Did you set up that secondary email address through Earthlink? That is the way it has to be done this side of the water - at least on my ISP.

    For all your email addresses the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers should be the same - screenshot.
