Does OE have the facility to file e-mails as in a business filing system - correspondence by subject, person, or project - like file cabinets for paper documents? I have a friend who currently uses Lotus but is considering a change to OE or Outlook, but he depends on this "Send & File" feature in Lotus and asked me if OE has the same. I didn't know what to tell him. I could use this , too! Can anyone help?

In OE you can make as many folders and subfolders out of the "Inbox" as you need, then create message rules to "sort the mail ". You can also save an email directly to a folder outside of OE of your own choosing. I have OE set to display (in blue) the unread messages in each folder. For more business mail alternatives, Outlook, available in MS Office, is worth a look.
