I recently installed a new Mother Board and Hard drive I put my old hard drive (win 98) as a F drive I am now running Win XP Prof.

I need to know how to get my mail and addresses from my old hard drive wich has OE 6 on it and transfer to my new drive wich also has OE 6. When I try importing it finds the WAB file and then it says nothing is in it. Can anyone help me. Thanks Jim Cloutier

If I remember correcty the WAB ( Windows Address Book ) is not cross platform compatable.

I believe it will only open with the original OS that created it.

If your old e-mail can be exported as a .CSV file ( comma separated value ) it should then import into the new OE. As it can be imported into most e-mail systems.

But I have not OE or the WAB for so long that I may not be correct about this.
