OE email .wmv type attachment won't open

    I can't get an OE email attachment-- which is an .wmv file-- to open correctly in Windows Media Player. Clicking the attachment to open it causes the WindowsMediaPlayer to open, but it just shows a blank screen and the attachment video does not run. Any easy cure?

    Note: WindowsMediaPlayer will open and run a video clip .wmv file if I click on that file in WindowsExplorer.

    Save the file to disk and try again - if you have no success it is likely that the file is corrupted.
