About a month ago my work computer started this annoying problem, when you open an email either by double clicking or by right click open, the whole email is automatically highlighted & copies itself to the clipboard. This is most irritating because I have a clipboard manager that i find rather useful. The clipboard manager has been installed for over a year now with no problems.

The most recent install, to my knowledge was a digital signature from Comodo as well as WinPT for encrypting files.

I upgraded from OE 5.5 to OE 6, still no fix, ran virus scan, one through McAfee, & one through an online scanner to no avail.

I have seemingly searched the entire internet, I seem to be the only one having this problem.

Is there any suggestions out there for what may be causing this?

Win2K Pro, Dell dual processor, Adobe Acrobat 5.5, Indesign 2, WinPT, Yankee Clipper III

I think the first place to start troubleshooting is the clipboard manager. It's possible it got corrupted in some manner and has gone pyscho.

Try uinstalling and reinstalling the clipboard manager to see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, you've only lost a little time.
