When installing MS Office 2000 premium, I am getting a message stating : " odbc resource dll (c\windows\system\odbcint.dll) is different version to odbc setup dll (c\windows\system odbccp32.dll)
I need to reinstall odbc components.
After checking the relevant file version numbers, windows appears to have installed the setup version from the Office cd, which is different from the version numbers in the system folder.
I have looked at the ms knowledge base for help, and found some stuff that may work, but if the office cd trys to install with its own version number, surely no amount of new files is going to help......
any help on this 1, it's on my bosses wifes computer !!!!!!

The install of office continued through to completion, however nothing can be saved, and further error messages occur refering to the data base files

    Hope this further info helps
    Thanks

If none of the methods outlined in the Resolution section of the article worked, then I don't know.
