Can I safely remove NVIDIA from my system. I keep getting nView locking up my system. So if I remove the dlls from my system will this remove the entire program?

Unlikely - your motherboard may have an nVidia chipset and your graphics card likewise.
No - the only way of removing an installed program is to use the uninstaller accessed through Add/Remove Programs.

nView is part of nVidia's multi display technology.

Go to the nVidia website and download the latest driver for your graphics. Uninstall the existing driver through Add/Remove Programs and install the new version.
