when i try to install my wacom graphics tablet, and when i start photoshop or illustrator, i get an error. the title is:

Font Capture: Illustrator(or photoshop when i try to open it).exe-Unable To Locate Component

X This application has failed to start because ntvdm.exe was not found.

even tho there is this error, the program still opens, but my main concern is that it's maybe the reason that i can't install my tablet.

is there anything i can do about this?

    thanks,
    oliver

ntvdm.exe = NT Virtual DOS Machine

It is used by the NT systems (NT4/2K/XP/2003) with older (16bit) programs that need to 'see' DOS to run properly. It basically sets up a little chunk of memory to look like a DOS based PC to the application.

There should be a copy in your system32 folder.

Say what operating system you are running and we can give you some ways to see what's happening and to fix whatever is wrong.
