   You may delete that folder if you are sure that you will not want to uninstall the Service Pack - I'm guessing that it is SP3 although it could also be an Office Service Pack if you have Office installed.

   Yes I have eventually downloaded SP3 for Xp and Office and touching wood no problems so far.
