    HI,
I HAVE A HP DESKTOP WITH WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL AND PENTIUM 4. TODAY I JUST COMPLETED A SYSTEM SCAN OF MY PC USING NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2008. AFTER THIS I RESTARTED MY COMP. BUT SYSTEM STARTUP FAILED. ALL I SEE IS:
    NTLDR is missing
    ctrl+alt+del to restart

and it is stuck here. none of the keys work except F10. on pressing F10 the hp system utility opens. i dont know what to do with this.
EVEN F8 DOES NOT WORK.When I ATTEMPT to boot the computer, the power light, HD light and Optical drive lights come on. there IS sound of activity from the computer - hard drive spinning up - fans running - I AM ABLE TO open/close the optical drive.

all my pics +data is in the hard drive.....is there any solution to fix my pc????
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!! this is urgent!!!!!please!!!
