NTBackup Problem

    Hello Guys!
    I have been experiencing a problem whenever I try to backup using HP DLT IV Tape Drive on Windows 2003 Server,in my HP ProLiant ML350 G4p.And receive the following error as shown below:


    Error: The device reported an error on a request to write data to media.
    Error reported: Invalid command.
    There may be a hardware or media problem.
    Please check the system event log for relevant failures.
    The operation was ended.
    Backup completed on 9/11/2006 at 2:47 PM.
    Directories: 44
    Files: 2489
    Bytes: 4,429,584,004
    Time: 24 minutes and 51 seconds

    Error: E: is not a valid drive, or you do not have access.[/B]----------------------

    The operation did not successfully complete.

    The tape drive may not have a good set of drivers installed.

    Look up the drive's model number at HP, they will have information and maybe driver downloads.

    Do you know of disks that came with the drive?

    You could at least try uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and see if the drivers are reinstalled correctly when you reboot.

    Unfortunately, you may find HP do not make drivers for Windows 2003 Server.
