Anyone know of a comparable switch in NS7 to Mozilla's "mozilla.exe -installer "? I want to force conversion of users' NS4.x profiles with an existing install of NS7.

    I'm missing something

Thanks Ramona. But apparently I'm missing something. In the Run box I type "C:\Program Files\Netscape7\netscape\netscp.exe - installer" but I'm told W2k can't find etc.
I tried the other command line options as well, but no luck there either. What am I doing wrong???

    Hi chink,

I think your target line is incorrect for W2K. Try this instead:

    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt

NOTE: These files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders

    HTH,

    Ramona :D
