I have been using 6.2 with no problems since it came out. Then I installed 7.0 which worked for a little while, then I started getting connection refused messages for every address I tried to connect to. Reinstalled 6.2, same problem. Now I'm using 4.7 which works just fine.

How can I get either 6.2 or 7.0 working again?

    Hummingbird,

Welcome to the board! You're one of the lucky few that has gotten 6.x to work. I would suggest removing both 6.2 and 7.0 completely. Here are Ramona's instructions for a clean install. Follow all of the instructions, even the ones about the registry entries. I would then install Netscape 7 only and see how it goes.

If you continue to have the same problems, post back.

That seems to have done the trick.

Thanks, Mike and Romona. I am posting from 7.01 right now. Everything is working just fine.
