I'm having a problem deleting old notifications from my 'customise
notifications window', I can not seem to find where the files are kept on
    my computer.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Nic99,
    welcome to the WindowsBBS!

It would help if You elaborate on "notification for what ". I don't think I can help but if You do, someone else may be able to.

Start > Run > Regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \TrayNotify. Delete IconStreams and PastIconStreams. Exit registry. Open TaskManager go to Processes. Highlight explorer.exe Click End Process when you get the warning dialog box click Yes. While you are still in TaskManager go to File New Task(Run) and type in "explorer" without the quotes click OK. Restart your computer
