[Active] Nothing will run...Pop-up says it is infected.

I cannot do anything... I tried downloading what you said but nothing is allowed to download or run. Everytime a pop up says that the file cannot be executed because the file is infected. Do you want to run your antivirus software now. However that antivirus software is not mine and it sends me to a webpage to buy it. It is called Antivirus System Pro. I also have tons of **** pop-ups. This is my kids school computer. He was bad and downloaded a song for a game called frets on fire.

He has deleted the game and all vestages we can find. I have deleted all the temp files except one that says another user is using it so it can't delete it. I think that could be a culprit.

Tell me where to go from here...Please.

______________

I think I got it taken care of. I was browsing around the internet waiting for ya'll and found another webpage that told how to get rid of the Antivirus System Pro. They told me to download:

Malwarebytes' Anti-malware

I followed the instructions and it got rid of it. So far anyway. I have had the internet going for 30 minutes or so now and no nasty pop-ups. Yay!!

Above I said that I could not download anything but it turns out that you just have to be pursistant at clicking it and sooner or later it will allow you to download. (I know many say not to click on things over and over again but this time it paid off. I am a persistant clicker hoping to get a different outcome)

Everything appers to be back to normal. If anything happens rest assured I will be back.

If you have any thoughts about that malware remover that I should know of I would love to hear it. Iwas leary to download something willy nilly but it looked up and up.

Thanks,
Susan

It'd be probably good idea to see, if nothing is left behind.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
1. Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
2. Close any open browsers.
3. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
• Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results ".
• Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
NOTE. If Combofix asks you to install Recovery Console, please allow it.
• Close any open browsers.
• WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
• Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
• If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.
4. Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
5. When finished, it will produce a report for you.
6. Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

Make sure, you re-enable your security programs, when you're done with Combofix.

DO NOT make any other changes to your computer (like installing programs, using other cleaning tools, etc.), until it's officially declared clean!!!

Download HijackThis:
http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis/download
by clicking on Download HijackThis Installer
Install, and run it.
Post HijackTHis log.
Do NOT attempt to fix anything!

NOTE. If you're using Vista, right click on HijackThis, and click Run as Administrator
