Notepad in fullscreen mode

    I use XP PRO SP2. when i open notepad it opens in windowed mode. Then i have to expand it manually which is just plain annoying. Anyone know how to get it to open full screen every time i run notepad or open a .txt file.

    If you stretch the edges as far as they can go, and then exit NotePad, it appears to remember this setting next time it opens.

    BTW in case you didn't know, a fast way to maximize a window is to double click on the top bar of the window, which is faster than using the icon in the corner.
