I was thinking that rather than get a whole new PC, I'd upgrade the Processor only.
I just don't know if this motherboard will let me and which Win11 compatible processor, if any, will fit
    Thanks

it seems that none of the compatible Intel processors will match those that the motherboard will accept.
I was looking at a new PC (although I really might just say "screw it" and keep this one until MicroSoft stops support), and I have noticed that it looks like they are 'pushing' to cloud storage and most have small HHDs.

I'm in the same scenario with a comp I built back in 2010. FX series AMD CPU which has TPM connection on the motherboard but even if I procure a TPM module, it won't comply because the CPU is not approved.
It's currently running perfectly OK with all the latest W10 Pro 64bit OS and updates.
I have another comp that is running Windows "Insider" OS which has been refurbished by me to another m/b (Asus)
and AMD Ryzen (approved) CPU and TPM which I had to switch on in the BIOS.
My Profile shows the latest build of Desktop which complies in every way (currently).
It appears that our comps and laptops are going to need renewing inside the whiteware (5 year
time zone). Gone are the days of buying 2nd hand parts and building a family comp.
You have a decision to make.;)
