Refer to the text of error messages pasted in below (from Windows "events" log). Basically I would have to conclude that these messages indicate that my firewall and antivirus components are abnormally terminating, altho I would never be aware of it if I did not catch these in the events log, because I had no idea from any other source that these terminations were occuring, behind the scenes so to speak. Does this mean that when this happens that I am unknowingly without firewall and antivirus protection until I just happend to reboot, or do these components manage to start themselves back up automatically, right away? Jeez Louise, what next...

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: Service Control Manager
Description: The Outpost Firewall Service service terminated unexpectedly.

Maybe one Virus scanner making a rt turn the other making a left turn, and the Firewall coming down the center????

Forget this untill you do the proceedure I gave you, and additionally unload correctly and completely one of the resident Virus scanners!!
