    Hello to all,

Here us a situation I'd appreciate some help with: For years, I have subscribed to and been receiving 4 free newsletters. Somehow, 1 of them stopped being sent a couple years ago. I re-applied a number of times and was told via email that it would be sent, but I have never received it again.

Regarding the other 3, I have stopped receiving them within the last 4 or 5 months. I re-applied, to no avail. There are 5 other free newsletters which I have been receiving for years without any problems at all. I also receive a number of emails every day from friends and family members without any problems.

Re the newsletters I am not receiving anymore, I have had their email addresses in my address book and their site addresses in my safe list all the while.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have a solution for you, but I went through the same thing a few years ago, back when I was using Win7. The newsletter had usually come almost daily, then it suddenly stopped. I e-mailed them and put them in my Address Book, etc. Nothing helped. Every once in a while -- sometimes months apart -- one issue would get through. I think it's been over a year since I last received one. A friend of mine regularly received his issues, and he uses the same ISP I do, so it's a mystery.

I'll be watching this thread to see if you get a solution. Good luck.

I'd guess the mail is being filtered as spam by your ISP.

If you can check your mail on-line via the ISP's web site - look in the junk mail folder... And or contact your ISP about getting the mail taken off their blacklist.

I will continue to try find a remedy and will advise the forum asap, hopefully, of my success.

Thanks for your help Steve... will check with my ISP and advise. They are not coming through my junk folder... I am notified of such mails and check the junk folder promptly.

Ok folks, I have finally got word from my ISP that they don't block or screen any incoming emails to me.

In the case of one of the newsletters, I finally start receiving it again... seems that something was malfunctioning at the sending end.

In the case of another, I have started receiving it again after registering with a different email address (hotmail). Whenever I had re-registered with my main email address, a note always came back saying they already have me registered, yet I was not receiving their email!l

In the case of the other two, I am at a loss as to what to do. I re-registered a number of times, got their acknowledgement but never received their 2 newsletters again. Perhaps I will try using a different email address as I did with the one above.

After hearing from you, I think I will mark this thread as solved... don't think it makes much sense to keep trying and getting no where..

Thanks folks, but I will have to reluctantly mark this thread as solved.

Try going to the relevant website and UNSUBSCRIBING from the mailing list. Once you have the confirmation that you are unsubscribed, you can then re-subscribe.
