I'm mad... I shut down Windows and so when I tried to reboot the computer, I got the option to start it up in Safe Mode, or start normally, so I started normally, and now all it does is just give me a blank screen, and the computer just stays at this black screen... HELP!!!

    Thanks again as always

    Nason,

See the discussion in your thread of two days ago:

You either have a horked install, a serious viral or malware infestation, or both.

It is time to do a very clean and new installation of XP.

Alrighty... so here is the deal man... I went ahead and tried to start a full reinstall of the xp system. In the Windows Setup blue screen, it scanned my configuration, and then went to the blue screen and began loading systems at the bottom of the screen of Windows so that I can start the reinstallation. Finally, it says "Setup is starting Windows" and then nothing else happens. The computer freezes. I have attempted this numerous times with the same results... HELP!!!
