 Strange one here. For some reason you cannot click in any blank field and get a flashing cursor so you can start typing.
for instance if you go to google or any web site where you have to click in the field to type in your search nothing happens...
Never seen anything like this one. I have tried different browsers as well as reloading...Another example would be on this page when I started I clicked in the Message Subject box and then i received a flashing cursor to start typing .....On this other particular machine when you do that nothing happens!!! Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks for your time.

    Hi, JD.

My similar experience may or may not be related.

I have also observed this anomaly sometimes when I am using vBulletin forums (such as these forums at Windows BBS). I'm sorry to say I haven't nailed the cause though. Sometimes after reloading the page the blinking cursor will appear when I click in the text entry field.

I found that I can still type a message in vBulletin forums even if the blinking cursor is absent.

This might be a glitch with the vBulletin software and the sites you visit.

Perhaps someone else can provide some insight.

Control Panel->Mouse->Look for the setting "hide pointer while typing" and disable it.
