Norton Virus problems-mail

Have been having problems where I think Norton's Virus Checker is changing my profile in Netscape. When this happens I cannot get my mail as it tries to go to Norton's rather than to my server. Of course this never works and so I cannot get my mail until I change the profile back to what it was. During this period of a wrong profiles there are also many hang ups with "Netscape Errors. "

This has occured on and off too many times over intermittent periods. What is causing it, and even more important, how do I prevent future
occurences?

I believe you need to look to NAV as the culprit for your email problems. I had problems similar to yours when I first configured NAV2000 with my PC.

If this doesn't allow you to receive mail, then contact your ISP for configuration instructions. I recommend this, as the Symantic instructions did not work with my ISP, and I had to call the ISP Tech Support for further information. They gave me the correct configuration to use, and only then was I up and running.
