    Is anybody running the new 2006 version of NIS ?

    How do you like it ?

    My only problem is that I can't figure out how to turn off the Alert Options.
    It has this annoying habit of continously bugging you to run a full system scan.
    The alert window pops up at the most inopportune times.
    It's kind of like a little kid constantly telling you, "Hey, pay attention to me ! "

    Why haven't you called Symantec.

    They have excellent support, and should be able to answer that question.
