When I installed NIS 2003 it included NAV 2003 and advised to uninstal the previous version of NAV 2002. The previous version left two files, Iamapp and Nisserv, that cause an alert when I run Win Dr to check the windows files. The alert says "invalid registry entry" that refers to a value that points to an invalid start up command , nisserv.exe and iamapp.exe.
These files are not needed in the new 2003 version, and in reality do not even exist on my computer.
I have deleted the registry data values, and even completely deleted the registry keys. When I reboot , they re appear. Something is actually putting the registry keys back into the registry.
Has anyone ever heard of any problem like this , or have any idea how to correct ?
    Thank's

I am assuming the Win DR refers to Norton WinDoctor.

I have the same thing with the same two files. I just told Win DR to ignore them.

They do not seem to be causing any problems.
