[Norton] From main pc to lap top

    Hello,I downloaded my upgrade of Norton to my pc. No problem but because i don't have the dvd and my pc and lap top are not the same....how do I get the up dated Norton Into my pc? I tried copying It and running It but the old expired one came up.:rolleyes:

    How did you download it? Did you select Run or Save to Disk?

    If you selected run you may find it in in Temp files ...

    Start > Run %temp% > OK

    Alternatively it may be in C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations.

    If you find it you should be able to burn to CD\DVD, but whether or not you can activate it - if the upgrade needs activation I know not. AFAIK you are only licensed to install on 1 computer.

    You cannot copy the program from Program Files - many parts are installed elsewhere within Windows.
