Norton Firewall - how to open port??

    How do I open ports with Norton Firewall???

    You don't say which version but if you can't find the information in "help ", This Page shows how to block access to a specific port with the 2002 version. You simply need to do most of the steps but then click on permit access and then choose the port(s).

    i figured it out though

    i had the windows xp firewall enabled overriding all settings with norton
