Norton AV 2004 OEM Question

    I bought NAV 2004 from Amazon and the seller failed to mention he was shipping an OEM Version for sale in the Middle East and Africa marked "Not for retail ".

    My question is will this work here in the USA and is it legal? It's still in the envelope till I can gain some confidence and have sent an email to the seller.

    I'd recommend checking with the OEM and Symantec. Might want to make sure it's an English version too.

    The seller finally got back to me and admitted it was a mistake and offered my money back. He said it would work and after install it looks and runs as I'm used to seeing.
