Norton activation

When I purchased and installed NIS 2005, I had to activate.

Lately, I keep getting popup messages from Norton telling me I need to activate it before I can use it ...
which is strange because this was done at installation.

I go through the activation ... just as I did initially ... agreeing to the terms and conditions and all that jazz.
When it gets to the screen where I'm supposed to enter the activation key, my key is already there in the box.

I don't need to be doing anything with Norton (like Live Update) for this to happen.

This is more of an annoyance than a problem ... I hope.

Is anyone else experiencing this ?

 

Try this solution from Symantec. Seems to be a glitch in the program.
