Resolved non working win updates

    When attempting to run windows updates I get the Error # 0x80244019, How can I correct this to allow updates to SP-3

    when i run Microsoft Fix it, I get the error message that additional software is required, Win xp service pak 3 and .NET framework 2. neither of which will install and run correctly

    Hi abray2002. Do you have Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed? If you don't do you get an error message when you attempt to install it?

    I do not have sp3 installed, i was getting a error message when attempting to install it. I downloaded sp-3 and installed yesterday but windows would lock up at start up, so I had to revert to sp 2

    I will reattempt to install SP-3 manually and hope windows will restart.
