I want to download PHP for windows.
There are two types :non thread safe and thread safe.
Which one should I choose?Or tell me what is thread safe?

Thread safe is a programming term, it restricts you to one thread to avoid conflicts. While non thread safe allows you to run several threads (eg several routines simultaneously) you have to be very carefull with your programming.

I gather you're just learning PHP, if so perhaps it's best to download thread safe until you get the hang of things.

You'll find an install.txt document in the zip file. I suggest you read it ;)

It can be a steep learning curve. Can I ask why you want PHP anyway?

If it's only curiosity or a hobby project then fair enough but if it's more professional there may be other easier solutions.

Fair enough, if you haven't already done so I'd suggest reading their getting started page (WordPress Getting Started).

Take it easy, don't try to run before you can walk. You'll get there in the end.
