    Hi,
As you can see, I dont know much about Win XP.
I am dual booting windows 98SE with XP Pro and have noticed that when atempting to load Windows Explorer from Start- All Programs - Accessories - Windows Explorer nothing is happening Explorer is not loading and after a little time the Dialog Box will come up informing me that Explorer had a problem and will now shut down, fact is it has never started.
I don't really miss it as everthing works OK from My Computer and MY Documents I can access all the files and Programs that I need to. I was just wondering why this is and if I can fix this without going into too much problems.
On my 98SE I use Power Desk 5 but as I don't know much about XP I was wondering if any of you Guroos out there know how it does in XP .
One more thing how does Windows set it's Restore Points and what do I have to do when I want to make a Restore Point , what Info do you have to Enter into that Line, where you are requested to.
    thanks

    Hi hawk22,

Try right-clicking "My Computer" and "Open ", and if a window opens click "Folders "; you should now have windows explorer if all is well. Let us know.

    Thanks Sparrow & PeteC,
Yes Sparrow that's how it works and how I had been doing it, just that the command from the menu is not functioning.
I think I wont worry about it as I can do what I need too from My Computer.
    So thanks again
