I have Windows Media Player 7 and it has always showed visualizations when I've played music on it. However, since I downloaded that security update everyone was screaming about a few weeks ago, it hasn't been showing them. Is this because of the security patch, or is there something I can change in my settings? The only options about visualizations I saw in Options was to download new ones, but nothing about enabling/disabling them. TIA.

Nah, too much trouble. Who needs visualizations anyway? They're stupid. Thx anyway.

Found out what the problem was. Apparently visualizations don't work with MIDI files, only with MP3s and possibly WAVs. I played my MP3s and the patterns were there, dancing to the music.

Mine work but they are very slow and jerky. :( Any ideas as to why?
